Este martes se cumplen 17 años de los ataques a las Torres Gemelas del WTC de Nueva York que sucedieron el 11 de septiembre del 2001, y los equipos de la NFL demostraron que el 9/11 es una fecha que la nación “nunca olvidará”.
La NFL se une y demuestra que ‘nunca olvidará’ el 9/11
Los equipos de la liga utilizaron las redes sociales para recordar un día que marcó a Estados Unidos.
A través de las cuentas oficiales de redes sociales como Twitter, las 32 franquicias publicaron mensajes en memoria de aquella tragedia, acompañadas por el hasth tag #NeverForget.
Equipos como Ravens, Cowboys, Vikings, Broncos, Chiefs y Rams colgaron en la red fotografías de la bandera de Estados Unidos, e incluso algunos jugadores escribieron mensajes recordando las sensibles pérdidas que dejó esa mañana.
