    Atlético de Madrid soporta la presión y triunfa ante Villarreal

    Héctor Herrera fue convocado después de tener COVID-19, pero no tuvo minutos en el 0-2 frente al Villarreal.

    El Atlético de Madrid se acordó de ganar después de tres partidos y derrotó este domingo por 0-2 al Villarreal como visitante en actividad de la Jornada 25 de LaLiga de España 2020-21.

    En este encuentro, el mexicano Héctor Herrera volvió a ser convocado por Diego Simeone después de haber padecido COVID-19 y de perderse los últimos cinco partidos en toda competición del Atleti.

    El partido no fue nada fácil, fue un choque entre dos equipos que siguen vivos en competencias UEFA, pero el Villarreal no pudo 'tirar' el buen orden defensivo de los colchoneros en su propio estadio.

    Un gol fortuito en el primer tiempo fue lo que encaminó al Atlético de Madrid a la victoria. Alfonso Pedraza anotó un autogol al minuto 25 y después de eso, los visitantes se encargaron de controlar todas las acciones.

    Luis Suárez se volvió a ir sin anotar con el Atleti, pero la buena noticia es que no fue amonestado. El uruguayo sumaba cuatro tarjetas y si veía la amarilla se perdería el derbi contra el Real Madrid el siguiente domingo.

    Las buenas nuevas fueron que Joao Félix, otro que volvió en días pasados tras tener coronavirus, ahora se hizo presente en el marcador para el 0-2 definitivo y dar un respiro a su equipo de cara al siguiente compromiso en casa.

    Con una semana de descanso, el Atlético enfocará todas las baterías al partido frente al Real Madrid, todavía tiene un juego pendiente, pero la diferencia es de cinco puntos en relación al Barcelona y seis con los blancos (juegan este lunes ante Real Sociedad).

    Mucha relevancia toma el derbi del domingo 7 de marzo en el Wanda Metropolitano para saber si la carrera por LaLiga se mantiene entre tres o sencillamente el Atlético de Madrid pone camino de por medio otra vez como lo había conseguido la mayor parte de la campaña.
