Leonel del Castillo, padre de Sergio Agüero, estalló contra Pep Guardiola, director técnico del Manchester City y juzgó que el estratega derramó lágrimas falsas por su hijo.

En entrevista para Radio La Red de Argentina, Del Castillo cuestionó que Guardiola no fue coherente con sus lágrimas respecto a los antecedentes con el 'Kun' en el City.
“No le creo a Guardiola. Nunca lo quiso, él quiere ser el protagonista de todos los equipos. Dice que es irremplazable y no lo tiene en el plantel. Son cosas de Guardiola, es un gran técnico. Pero de un día para el otro te cambia los jugadores, te cambia el medio".
Además, Del Castillo reveló que su hijo hizo todo lo posible por quedarse en el Manchester City aunque explicó que, en realidad, el conjunto celeste no lo quiso.
“Hay alguien que dice que no estás para seguir en el club y no te queda otra que cambiar. Él estuvo hasta lo último viendo si renovaba con el City, pero no se pudo. No quisieron”.
Por último, reconoció que el actual jugador del Barcelona tenía ofertas para quedarse en la Premier League con el Arsenal o Tottenham.
