Pizarro became the fiftieth Mexican to score in MLS only a week after Oswaldo Alanís (San José Earthquakes) became the 49th.
Carlos Vela broke the MLS's scoring record and set it at 34; he's also the leading Mexican scorer in the league with 49.
Erick 'Cubo' Torres, now back at Liga MX with Xolos, is the second most effective Mexican goalscorer in MLS with 36.
Like Pizarro, Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández joined MLS this season and became the league's best paid player, but is still waiting to score with L.A. Galaxy for the first time.
