    ¡Fracasos! La crisis reciente que atraviesa el Tri varonil y femenil

    La eliminación del Mundial es el tropiezo más reciente de una larga lista que aqueja a la selección mexicana varonil y femenil.

    El Tri de mayores se suma a los descalabros en la rama femenil, y quedar por fuera del Mundial Sub-20 y los Juegos Olímpicos.

    La eliminación de la selección mexicana en la Fase de Grupos del Mundial Qatar 2022 es el episodio más reciente de una lista de dolorosos fracasos para el equipo nacional varonil y femenil.

    Con el fracaso mundialista consumado pese a la victoria sobre Arabia Saudita, México rompió una racha de siete Copas del Mundo consecutivas clasificando a segunda ronda, es decir, a Octavos de Final.

    En años, la tragedia suena aún más compleja: en los últimos 42 años de historia de la selección mexicana no se había vivido un episodio tan bochornoso en Mundiales.

    “Esta selección ya tendría que haberse reestructurado desde hace dos años con jugadores más jóvenes y creo que no se hizo debidamente, al final jugadores jóvenes que pasaron por buen momento también se quedaron fuera desde hace un año, año medio que no estaba funcionando esta selección”, opinó Alberto García Aspe para TUDN.

    Qatar 2022 es el último de una serie de fracasos en selecciones nacionesl varoniles y femeniles en tiempos recientes, ya que el primer descalabro fue quedar fuera del Mundial Sub-20 de Indonesia 2023 y y Juegos Olímpicos en la rama varonil.

    Como si no fuera suficiente, el Tri Femenil también sufrió un duro golpe en sus aspiraciones para el torneo del balompié mundial, ya que no pudieron obtener el boleto al Mundial Femenil Australia-Nueva Zelanda 2023 y tampoco estarán en París 2024.

    “¿Y nosotros qué buscamos? ¿Qué generamos? Hay que buscar dónde es fuerte el futbol mexicano. Los equipos grandes buscan a los extranjeros, también se le complica a la selección por la cantidad de esos extranjeros", señala Ricardo La Volpe, exseleccionador de México.

    A tres años y medio de distancia del Mundial que México albergará en conjunto con Estados Unidos y Canadá, existen más dudas que certezas en el proyecto que tendría que limpiar la penosa acutación en Qatar 2022.
